Process improvement is not necessarily about CMM or CMMI, Six Sigma or ISO. Process improvement is about whatever can give high return in profitability and customer satisfaction with the resources your organization can afford. It is about whatever formal or informal methods that can best fit within your organization's culture. That is how ICSPI approaches software process improvement.
Due to the great success of ICSPI in the past and the overwhelming interest by the SPI community, The International Institute for Software Process (IISP) and Software Dimensions are proud to host the fifth International Conference on Software Process Improvement. ICSPI 2008 in Washington, DC the week of October 20th - 24th, 2008.
ICSPI will be offering tutorials that will count towards the Certified Software Process Improvement Professional (CSPIP) certification. It will offer tutorials that will cover both the Core Knowledge Areas (CKAs) as well as the Application Knowledge Areas (AKAs).
