Due to the great success of ICSPI in the past and the overwhelming interest by the SPI community, The International Institute for Software Process (IISP) and Software Dimensions are proud to host the fifth International Conference on Software Process Improvement. ICSPI 2008 in Washington, DC the week of October 20th - 24th, 2008. ICSPI will be offering tutorials that will count towards the International Software Process Improvement Certification (ISPIC). It will offer tutorials that will cover both the Core Knowledge Areas (CKAs) as well as the Application Knowledge Areas (AKAs) .

ICSPI promises to focus only on practical methods to improve software processes around the organization, independent of any specific assessment model. The ICSPI 2008 program features presentations by world leading authorities and practitioners in software process improvement.
