Biography:
Mr. Felschow has over 25 years of professional and management experience in systems and software engineering, program management, business process management and software process improvement. Mr. Felschow is an authorized Software Engineering Institute (SEI) Authorized Lead Appraiser for SCAMPI appraisals and an authorized Introduction to CMMI instructor. Mr. Felschow is also a certified SEI High Maturity Lead Appraiser. Mr. Felschow has participated on over 100 appraisals as facilitator/coach to organizations in accordance with the SEI Assessment/Appraisal Guidelines. He is experienced with the mulitple assessment/appraisal methods which all are related to process management and improvement initiatives. Mr. Felschow is considered an expert in applying the Capability Maturity Models (CMMI) and has helped guide many organizations up through level 5 of the CMM and CMMI.
Mr. Felschow was a contributing author on the third edition of Handbook of Software Quality Assurance. He has been very active in the software process improvement networks (SPIN) speaking on several topics. He is a frequent speaker at software engineering and software engineering process group (SEPG) conferences. He has served on the Software Engineering Institute's (SEI) CBA IPI advisory board.
